NITB Event Plan Consultation
Events have the ability to deliver a competitive advantage for Northern Ireland, having a range of beneficial impacts on the image, economy and tourism performance and future potential of the region. They can enhance NI’s reputation as a destination to live, work, visit and study. They can generate economic impact in terms of new jobs, businesses and training opportunities, and can attract visitors at times of the year when there is surplus capacity in the accommodation sector.
All organizations or individuals with an interest in the Northern Ireland Events Sector are welcome to input their views to three areas detailed in section 6 of the initial consultation document. This document can be downloaded in word and PDF formats at www.nitb.com.
NITB will accept comment in person , by email and by hard-copy. Please provide all comments by close of play 5 th July 2010 by the following methods:
