A modern state of the art leisure facility catering for a wide variety of individual and group needs.
Riversdale Leisure Centre is a modern and friendly leisure centre which offers a wide range of activities for all ages and levels of fitness.
The centre's facilities include 2 swimming pools, squash court, steam and sauna suite, the Lifestyle Fitness Suite, spinning studio, activity hall, committee room and a multipurpose sports hall. As a result, a wide variety of activities can be accommodated. These include badminton, table tennis, basketball, netball, five-a-side soccer, hockey, cricket, karate and volleyball. The pool area offers recreational/fitness swimming as well as progressive improvers and masters swimming. A Sports Injury Clinic is also available.
Finally, a programme of classes and courses has been devised and is aimed at encouraging participation at all levels. These include lifesaving, yoga, circuit training, aerobics, boxer fit, trampolining, childrens' learner/improver swimming lessons as well as adults' learner/improver swimming lessons.
The centre opens from Monday to Friday between 10.45 and 22.00 hours, on Saturday between 10.00 and 18.00 and on Sunday between 14.00 and 18.00. A range of activities and courses is offered and all staff are qualified to the relevant industry standards.
