It is evident that the public image of Strabane has significantly improved in the past 10 years with significant scope available for enhancing that image further. Let the dance begin has become the hallmark and trademark of Strabane. With only one town hotel very few tourists /business guests stay in Strabane and generally obtain hotel accommodation in other locations. This must be addressed to enhance the economy of Strabane. We need to harness the benefits that guests staying, eating, shopping and doing business in Strabane can bring to our town and district.
Strabane needs to hold on to its brightest people if its economy is to prosper. This will only happen if we can offer a thriving day and night time economy which will complement the investment that has occurred in Derry and Letterkenny.
